RESERVATION CANCELLATION / NO SHOW POLICY

During all holiday periods, we experience a tremendous demand for our boarding spaces.
Invariably some requests for reservations are unable to be met because we are booked out
Each holiday we have a number of people that either forget to cancel their reservation requests or simply do not show up for their contracted space.
This causes inconvenience to both the kennel and to other clients who would have booked in if there were vacancies.

This year due to the number of these ‘no shows’ and ‘last minute cancellations’, we are implementing the following:

* If you cancel / do not show up for your reservation and we are forced to have a vacant pen then you will be charged for the entire booked period.

* If the kennels are not booked out and therefore the pen would have been vacant and we would not have generated revenue –you will not be charged

* If we were booked out during the dates of your reservation and are able to only partially fill your original booked dates, you will be charged the number of days we were unable to fill.

PEAK PERIODS- (Easter, School Holidays)

These reservations require a 20% deposit to secure your reservation

7 day cancellation –If you do not show up or cancel within 7 days from the date you had reserved and we are unable to fill the space – you will be charged for the booked period

CHRISTMAS / NEW YEAR PERIODS

All of these reservations require a 50% deposit to secure your reservation.

If you do not show up or cancel your reservation within 14 days of the date of your reserved arrival, and we are unable to fill these spaces, you will be charged the entire booked reservation as a cancellation fee.

Please be aware that we try in all situations to work with our customers whenever possible – on the other hand customers should be aware that we are usually ‘full’ during major holiday periods, and can be booked out MONTHS in advance.
This means that we are refusing potential customers in order to hold accommodation for your pet/s.
If you do not cancel your reservations in a timely manner, we may be unable to re-book the space we have held for you. This forces us to lose revenue as at such short notice we found that a lot of those on our emergency cancellation list were forced to make other arrangements for their pets.

Christmas - We will be taking admissions up to 6PM on the 24th of December. We will then we will be closed to the public from Christmas day, the 25th of December to the 30th of December. Pets that are in our care for this period will be available for collection and we will return to our regular open times, 7 days a week, on the 31st of December.
We have decided to do this as most of the bookings we get during this time, are already from Christmas Eve through to new year’s day.
It also means that we get to have a break and spend some time with our family and friends.
